On April 19, the Goldman Prize winners were awarded the 2010 Prize before a 3000-person audience at the San Francisco War Memorial Opera House. Highlights included an address by Douglas Goldman, performances by Senegalese star Baaba Maal, and master of ceremonies duties masterfully handled by actor and environmentalist Peter Coyote.
The Goldman Environmental Prize just completed a wonderful week of celebration and community.
