The Goldman Prize ceremony in Washington, DC is moving to a new venue this spring. In April 2013, the ceremony will take place at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center.

The Ronald Reagan Building is part of the Federal Triangle complex. It is the largest federal building in the nation, after the Pentagon. It contains both government and private office spaces, as well as several premier restaurants.

The building is used for a wide range of events, including exhibits, trade shows, corporate meetings, conferences and weddings. Some memorable events that have taken place there include the NATO Summit 50th Anniversary and the inaugural festivities for President George W. Bush.

The building’s 625-seat amphitheater features state-of-the-art lighting, video and sound technologies. But surely, the main attraction is the building’s 9,900 square foot Atrium- a grand reception area situated beneath a stunning arched glass skylight, which contains nearly an acre of glass.
